What you will need: A soft measuring tape

Options 1: Compare with clothing you already own

Step 1: Lay your child's best-fitting dress flat on a table

Step 2: Smooth it out so there are no wrinkles

Step 3: Measure across the chest for half chest measurement (under arms) then measure the total length from shoulder to hem. 

Step 4: Compare these measurements to our size chart of the product page. 

Options 2: Measure your child directly

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms.

If the size chart lists a half chest measurment, simply divide your child's full chest measurement by 2 to compare.

Waist: Measure around the natural waistline (usually above the belly button).

Length/Height: Measure from the shoulder down to where you want the dress to sit, or use your child's full height as a guide.

Hip: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your child's hips.
